is for us very important for two reasons!Firstly and most logical, it is the only breed club for Greyhounds between the Benelux counties, Germany and Denmark. Secondly in memory of two very special people who are no longer with us, but dedicated all their adult life to Greyhounds and are the founders of ‘De Greyhound Club’, Frans & Wil Gerritsen of Velocity Greyhounds.
The show this year took place at the very relaxing and friendly Lelystad Sighthound non professional racing track. A really great show ground with amazing potential. Sadly an extremely low entry of nine Greyhounds makes you wonder.
I do hope for better days for the club
and that Greyhound people of at least the above mentioned counties, “wake up” and support their breed club!
